Wendy Huang is the Assistant Manager of Commercial and Business Development at Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl). She commenced her career as a management trainee. She is also a Council Associate of the Hong Kong Logistics Association (HKLA). Wendy has been instrumental in driving key projects in Hactl in enhancing Hactl's business and promoting green and smart logistics.
Wendy led the Green Tenancy Initiative under the Action for Climate Project, which aimed to integrate sustainable practices into Hactl's tenancy management. She developed a reward scheme that saw over 60% of tenants committing to energy and waste reduction. The scheme is one of the highlights of Hactl's sustainability activities in reducing Scope 3 emission through influencing our business partners.
Wendy also played a pivotal role in relaunching the Customer Satisfaction Survey in 2023.Wendy incorporated green elements into the survey by using tree planting as an incentive for survey participants, which received positive feedback from the airlines. The relaunch of the survey was a success and was deemed instrumental in improving Hactl's service quality. In addition, Wendy has been at the forefront of driving the adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) within the department.
Ms. Queenie Yip graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with dual degrees in Management and Marketing. In 2016, she joined the Management Trainee Program of Airport Authority Hong Kong.
Since 2018, she has been deeply involved in the aviation logistics sector, promoting the development of the air cargo industry. Ms. Yip has participated in numerous innovative and smart projects, including enhancements in the handling of high-value temperature-controlled cargoes at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) from both hardware and software perspectives. These initiatives have led HKIA to achieve international certification from the International Air Transport Association, becoming a Partner Airport for Pharmaceutical Logistics (CEIV Pharma), the world's first for perishable products (CEIV Fresh), and Live Animal Transportation (CEIV Live Animals).
Additionally, she was involved in the early development of the "HKIA Cargo Data Platform", an industry platform equipped with the latest smart technologies. This platform connects key stakeholders along the supply chain, which enables shipment traceability and unifies information exchange. Ms. Yip currently serves as the General Manager of Dongguan HKIA Logistics Park Investment (Dongguan) Co., Ltd. and is responsible for developing the permanent Hong Kong International Airport Logistics Park in Dongguan.
Tyrell Au, Co-Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of FreightAmigo, is a visionary leader in the logistics and technology sectors, honored with the Innovation Leadership Award (Young Executive Award) at the Hong Kong's NextGen Logistician Awards 2024. With over two decades of experience in industrial operations management, Big Data, IT, and enterprise management, Tyrell has played a pivotal role in modernizing the logistics industry's digital landscape.
In 2017, he co-founded FreightAmigo, a digital logistics platform that now serves more than 50,000 users globally and connects with over 1,000 overseas partners across the United States, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Mainland China. His leadership has driven the adoption of cutting-edge technologies like AI, IoT, and blockchain to enhance efficiency and sustainability in logistics.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Tyrell is a passionate advocate for technological innovation and industry advancement. As an Executive Committee Member of the Young Executive Council, Federation of Hong Kong Industries, and Vice President of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Startups Alumni Association, he actively promotes collaboration between industry and academia, organizes forums and workshops, and advocates for policies that foster innovation in logistics.
Tyrell has spearheaded transformative projects such as "Ship Now, Pay Later," a TradeTech solution enhancing cash flow, and "AmiGo Green," which promotes sustainable logistics practices. He has also mentored over 100 young professionals, nurturing the next generation of logistics leaders.
Since graduating from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology BBA program in 2003, Keno Cheung has built an illustrious career in the logistics industry. Joining a renowned UK private company – Charles Kendall Freight's Hong Kong branch as the Far East's second employee, he quickly distinguished himself in freight operations. Over the past 22 years, his dedication and innovative mindset have propelled him in 2013 to become the youngest and first non-British main board director in the company's history—a milestone reached purely through merit and perseverance.
Keno's visionary leadership transformed a loss-making regional unit into a thriving hub. Under his guidance, the team expanded from few members across two locations to a decent size of professionals operating in nine offices throughout Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, and Dubai.
Keno pioneered tailor-made third-party logistics (3PL) and cross-border supply chain solutions for oversized cargo in 2008, setting new industry benchmarks. He is also involved in other main infrastructural projects in Hong Kong, including MTR South Island Line, HZM Bridge, etc.
Beyond corporate achievements, Keno is passionate about mentorship and industry advocacy. Actively involved with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) since 2010, he has earned accolades as Young Achiever of the Year in 2013, chaired the Logistics Policy Committee from 2020 – 2024, and currently serves as Vice President, helping nurture the next generation of logistics expertise.
Mr. Billy Yeung began his career at DKSH Hong Kong Limited in 2010 as a Management Trainee and has since ascended to the role of Senior Director of Supply Chain Management for Hong Kong, Macau, and Mainland China. In this capacity, he oversees the comprehensive supply chain operations across these three markets. Additionally, he heads the management of 3PL operations at DKSH HK, developing tailored logistics solutions, with a particular emphasis on Cross Border Solutions for prospective clients.
Throughout his tenure at DKSH, Mr. Yeung has successfully led various initiatives, including supply chain transformations, the implementation of cross-border solutions, the digitalization of warehouse processes, and the development of talent through programs such as Management Trainee and internships, as well as the Youth SCM Explorer program.
Mr. Yeung holds a Master of Science in Engineering, in Industrial Engineering and Logistics Management, from the University of Hong Kong. He is also a Co-opt Member of the Institute of Purchasing & Supply of Hong Kong (IPSHK).
